Are you a native-level speaker and have studied teaching/languages or do you hold a teaching certificate and have several years of experience in teaching foreign languages abroad? At EDUA Group we would be happy to welcome you to our teachers‘ team.
You will have a wide selection of different courses – corporate, public, group, individual, specialized, face-to-face and online, post-secondary and more.
You will be the master of your schedule. Our coordinators will create a schedule according to your individual requirements and needs.
We have an online system that motivates students to make up cancelled lessons. This gives you greater security of a steady income.
Do you just want to add new courses to your schedule or are you interested in broader cooperation? With us, both options are relevant. We offer courses all year round, so you will be guaranteed constant access to new courses. In addition, you can select them directly from our online system from the comfort of your home or by contacting our coordinators.
We organize regular workshops that are beneficial even for experienced teachers. The most experienced teachers can also become our Key Teachers or Senior Teachers and help us with running individual workshops and training other teachers. In addition, we have written a methodology handbook for our teachers, which is a great help in planning lessons. We also organize our own JCL online teaching conference and the AJS (Association of Language Schools) conference, where we are represented on the board.
We have a well-equipped library with free printing, laminating, scanning and copying. The library is also available in digital form. All our classrooms are equipped with laptops, projectors and whiteboards. We also publish a monthly magazine Logbook which features news from the in-house team, fun interviews and teaching tips.
In addition to excellent care, we also offer you various benefits depending on the number of courses you will be teaching with us. These include:

I moved to Prague from London in early 2023 because of EDUA Group. I was a newly minted English teacher with little or no practical experience. Edua offered me as many students as I’d want to teach, with the freedom to choose my hours and the types of courses. More importantly, it offered support. There are many hours of free training available on topics ranging from using AI to making grammar lessons fun. I’ve also had a wonderful senior teacher to answer my questions on how to handle challenging students or where to find the right materials for disinterested teens. And she wasn’t the only one. Other senior teachers gave me personalised consultations on preparing online teaching materials or teaching business English courses. I have been a teacher at JCL for 8 years now. When I first came to the company I had been working in South Korea in an elementary school, so to say I had limited experience in teaching English would be a bit of an understatement. You will meet your Senior Teacher and they will invite you to watch them teaching. We believe that sharing teaching experience is an effective way of professional development.
INITIAL TRAINING
During your first month you will attend a series of training sessions where you will learn about our Coach&Practise methodology. You will be financially rewarded for your participation.
OBSERVATION AND FEEDBACK

Your Senior Teacher will observe some of your classes to give you constructive feedback. You will also receive feedback from your students.
INFORMAL MEETING
We will invite you to an informal meeting over a coffee, where you will be able to give us any feedback.
FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
You will have the opportunity to participate in our workshops and conferences throughout your cooperation.
